ABOUT ME

My name is Marian Evans; 54 years of age and have one remarkable 23 year old son, Adam. Born in Dublin Ireland, the family moved to Toronto in 1960. I remember my first winter quite well – man was it cold. We lived on Collier Street in downtown Toronto and tobogganed down the hills on Rosedale Valley Road.

My three sisters, one brother and I were raised in a happy environment with my parents who taught us to live honest, moral and principled lives and to abide by the law.

I went to Holy Name grade school and an all girl Catholic School. Going through my childhood days were normal and happy as all children should have at the beginning of their life. After completing high school, I went to Centennial College for two years and continued on my path.

It never seems to fail, the pleasure in grabbing my laptop and writing; with a coffee by my side peace and serenity is with me at 6:00am.

Today I enjoy working with a publishing company which has inspired me to write my novel which tells who I am and how the sexual assault of January 6, 1979 by an on-duty police officer proved to be the defining moment in my life — thus beginning my journey.

And now I wish to share with you a few articles from 1979 and 2008.

God Bless

Marian
